Welcome to Tuesday, 22 September, 2020. For a lot of people, 2020 has been a particularly… Well, it’s been all of our 2020, we know how it has been. So looking ahead to 2021, many people will decide to start the new year off with some kind of arbitrary resolution that they likely won’t fulfill or hold any real actionable meaning on, because that’s what it is like every year.
This year we break that trend!
Yes, we break that trend by not waiting until 100 days from now to start doing something. Instead, we take the opportunity now, to do something for the next 100 days. You have a great community, who are there to cheer you on in your commitment and in this journey.
For some of us, we’ve enacted a “Fitness” goal for these next 100 days. It’s rather simple, at least on the surface.
Do one sit-up and one push-up. Every day, incrementing.
It sounds pretty simple, just a short bit ago, I did one push-up, and one sit-up and for what it’s worth, I’m technically DONE for the day!
Actions before Resolutions!
Tomorrow, I’ll have to do two of them. and 99 days from now… I’ll have to do 100 of them. No one ever said it was going to be easy, but as time progresses on, it’ll certainly be a lot easier to do 100 pushups and sit-ups when the day prior you did 99 and the day before you did 98.
And also I have a personal goal to try to produce some high quality (that’s the intention!) articles and blog posts, every single day until the new year. I have a bunch of VMware, and Cloud articles coming soon, so that part will be easy; Also I’ve been looking at publishing a whole series of the unknown unknowns of AWS; so hopefully ya’ll should enjoy some of that! Feel free to toss in any suggestions on things you would like to see and I can put pencil to WordPress and get some of that published for ya!
Feel free to comment along if you’d like to join us in this journey of sit-ups and push-ups. I know some will do squats or pull-ups or other things. Everyone is entitled to do whatever thing they want to do, you have our full support! Good luck and good actions!
